If they're looking for me just tell them I'm home sitting indian style on the floor just waiting alone waiting for someone to come in and tell me it's over it's over when the sun rises on this city of mine cause I've heard the night life for such a long time I've been waiting for someone to come in and tell me they're ready they're ready And you may not feel the best, when you awake in the morn and you may look something as an aid for the sores well let me tell you that's exactly what I'm here for What I'm here for I had my fair share of tumbling nights seeing memories flash right before in neon green lights but I left that early and now I'm just home and I'm ready I'm ready And you may not know right now why I chose to wait around and you may tell me that I'm wasting my time right now but let me tell you when tomorrow comes, you may feel woozy and I hope you'll use me I hope you'll use me If they're looking for me just tell them I'm home sitting indian style on the floor just waiting alone waiting for someone to come in and tell me it's over it's over If they're looking for me, Just tell them I'm home Sitting Indian style on the floor Just waiting alone.

Our minds are full of esclalators and steep stairs that lead to our insane cranium affairs and to find the right mode to try to decode yours is impossible Far across the room you smile and throw me a wink unless something was in your eye but from what I think you feel just the same as I do each day that I think of you You know so much more than I about where we are now yes the balls in your court and your just sitting down but when you toss me the next throw my arm will pull and I'll let go and then we're stuck with nothing nothing but our different grounds Our hearts are always working while though they're often diseased By overflowing promises and never-ending needs and I think you'll start to disease my heart for the last time But your eyes are motion pictures holding hidden snipes so that the more and more I look, the more that I like and that is why, I blame my eyes for not turning You know so much more than I about where we will be cause your holding answers while I'm just holding old used dreams and I would ask poilitely for a switch but then I'll only lose the answers I get and then we're stuck with nothing but our broken dreams. I will overstudy every movement that make without command Do our fingers overlock whenever we are forced to hold hands? Our tongues are locamotives overloaded with coal motioning on tracks of words that lead from our soul so excuse me miss, if the words I list are improbable You know so much more than I about who we are yes you've got the ending while I'm just pretending I'm that far But if you see my advances, and call my bluff then I'm left with nothing, yes we're still stuck stuck on our different grounds

At first, this was too soon to say but now with further thinking getting in my way I'm pretty sure that this is going down Merry-Go-Round stations placed within my head Wide eyes open hanging round so late in bed Seems like something's rolled back in to town Cause I'm no stranger to these feelings right here Cause when you feel it, it comes perfectly clear When your sweet on somebody the world brings you back around and when your sweet on somebody all that was lost feels like it's found And my heart skips beats like it's on que with pin point focus to across the room I'll have some trouble concentratin on the things I do and the sound of a name starts to sound in tune cause I'm sweet on somebody and that somebody is you At first I sprung with some alarm to the symptoms of fast heart rate and sweaty palms Should've called a doctor right away But the days kept movin, I had found a clue in how these symptoms only come around when I'm with you and in the end I'm more than just ok Cause I'm not stranger to these symptoms, it's true It just feels stronger this time round with you When your sweet on somebody the world brings you back around and when your sweet on somebody it's like noone could bring ya down With passion and worry while I hope and pray that you'll find good things in the words I say and when we both part at the end of the day you'll feel the same as I do while you walk away cause I'm sweet on somebody and that somebody is you When your sweet on somebody the world brings you back around and when your sweet on somebody you want to scream it all over town And when I've run outta things that I can do and I throw my arms up and believe it's through but then all of sudden in my nearest view you come up to me and say I'm sweet on you too yeah I'm sweet on somebody and that somebody is you
5.
Tell me what day is it for you today Want to make sure that I react the right way Cause every single day you seem to change the highs and lows and I've started losing balance with you keeping me on my toes And I have told myself to give up this charade Nothing's worth this type of endless bend But just when I'm done packing my emotions up you say something to make me stay again Shake me down a little, try to break my smile watch me walk away until I'm gone a while letting you go as if it's the end Until you pull upon my rope and tighten up the slack then watch me turn 180 and start coming back again It's what we always do Cause you can change your mind a thousand times but somehow I'll keep running to you Less and more, you take me on ride Back and forth, running suicides tryin' to catch my breath before you switch to change Take the rose, plainly you adore I turn around, stab me with the thorns But I'm more confused than full of pain And if there's something in me you can't get around something you're not sure is suited right for you I am fine with you slamming your door right in my face just take your in and out welcome mat back while you do (chorus) Cause you can call me mine then cut it blind and somehow I'll keep running back to you
6.
Take a look my way A single sided highway where I find the constant sight from left to right ain't there Cause I live each week on the chances that you've got no better plans and though I never think to ask and I never even show I care The same thought comes to me no matter where It should've been you sitting by me It should've been you on the phone It should've been you just rockin while riding shotgun on that night's long way home It should've been you cross the table It should've been you cross my way But it never was and yet every time I say It should've been you. Always just one seat left to the right Like an invisible reservation sign That is just right for you and yet you just have no clue And that void will stay on since I rely entirely on the conincidence that those between us will fill in all the ties But how rare these tares will tie (chorus) (break) It should've been you tagging along now It should've been you to make this a pair There should probably be somebody else, but there's nobody else so why the hell are you just not there It should've been you instead of the others It should've been you fancy or plain Cause at the end of the night, I always find myself sayin' It should've been you.

People stop by and ask me all of the time about you But every time I feel I'm at a lack for words Something subsides between my tounge and my mind then it's over Just a jumbling pile of mixed up rhymes and misused verbs Not get me wrong, I know what I feel but whenever someone asks me to reveal it's far from ideal still far from what is there Yeah I could forcefully give every nice adjective in the book, babe and still feel the decription of you is out of sorts Yeah I could own every good word in the world, babe and still feel i'm coming up short Never thought I was a loss for a word guy but just maybe now that I got what I'm tounge tied in knots now shows Never though that I'd be in to dictionary memorizing but here I am swimming as I'm synonymming undescriptive prose Yeah I could forcefully give every nice adjective in the book, babe and still feel the decription of you is out of sorts Yeah I could own every good word in the world, babe and still feel i'm coming up short I guess it's cause lovely, or winsome, or pleasant or sweet I guess it's cause your nifty or swell, dandy or neat and yet words aren't unalduterated, fully consummated, completely complete I think you know what I mean Yeah I could forcefully give every nice adjective in the book, babe and still feel the decription of you is out of sorts Yeah I could own every good word in the world, babe and still feel i'm coming up short
